Segulalelo

Segulalelo-lelo-lelalelo: The name compounds a Kabbalistic amulet and an Acid Mothers Temple freakout.

Dan Saks, Asylum Arts grant recipient and creater writes:

"This is our Acid Mussar Temple.  We aspire to create a communal ritual, a form of chant drawing from the Texts. Chant frees words from their lingual casings. Phrases bisect into feelings and rhythm. Focus blurs and sharpens on the rises and falls of a tongue. We hear drummers. We deepen understanding by repeating one meaningful thought rather than by plodding through so many. The beat is our breath. Our breath is our life. We breath together, we live together, we beat."

Live accompaniment by members of DeLeon, Zion 80 and Sha'ar:
Guitar - Dan Saks, Yoshie Fruchter, Oren Neiman and Gilad Ben-Zvi
Percussion - David Freeman
