Asylum Director, Rebecca Guber, visits our artists’ studios, exhibitions, and performances in a jam-packed trip around Israel.
What a whirlwind trip to Israel, it is still swirling around in my head. I had a great studio visit with Liat Livni, visited exhibitions of Yael Meiry, Alexandra Zuckerman, and Maayan Elyakim. I met with a big group of artists in Tel Aviv, and then a training for a group of 30 Jerusalem artists at ArtCube Artists Studios. I was lucky to get to see a number of the performances that were part of the Mekudeshet: Jerusalem Season of Culture, including Night Stroll, and the magical all-night event of performances and discoveries in the Tower of David (I only made it until 4am….).
