Jon Madof and Yoshie Fruchter are both guitar playing Jews and writers of music from cities south of New York City. Jon makes music with Zion80, Blivet and Rashanim among others. Yoshie makes music with Pitom, Schizophonia and Sandcatchers (and is a member of Zion80) among others. On a relatively comfortable Thursday night in September they sat in Union Square and discussed music, life, Judaism, family and the merits of being real.
