Jon Levin’s puppeteering adaptation of Kafka’s A Hunger Artist 9/19

Jon Levin’s Sinking Ships Productions present their first public performance of their newest project: A solo adaptation of Franz Kafka’s A Hunger Artist! The haggard Impresario, dragging a worn-out steamer trunk onto the stage attempts to resurrect the spectacle and fanfare surrounding the once world-famous and now forgotten Hunger Artist – a performer whose act consisted of publicly starving for days on end. Using puppetry, clowning, and toy theater, Sinking Ship Productions presents a new adaptation of the Kafka story, A Hunger Artist.
